KeyNumerate tallies your key clicks and mouse movements. It stores the totals by day, but only the current days totals are displayed. Future versions will display more data, such as grand totals, yesterday’s totals, totals by application, most used characters, etc.
A programmer friend of mine and I competed briefly to see who typed the most legitimate keystrokes each day. We used a Google Desktop plugin called KeyCounter which was fun to watch, but on occasion it slowed my computer down when typing. This software is an attempt to count keystrokes without slowing my computer down.
KeyNumerate is an unpolished application and isn’t pretty. Please keep this in mind as you evaluate it.
This is not a keylogger and the information it records cannot be retrieved to view passwords or other sensitive data. It does not records enough information to make this possible.
